This is an exciting new project from longtime vintner Donald Patz, whose three-decades of working with Sonoma and Russian River Valley growers has proved beyond fruitful. A beautiful opening of rose petals and cardamom leads into a fresh, lean palate with loads of ripe raspberry, strawberry and pomegranate. Underlying notes of oak and walnut and a juicy finish makes for a full, chewy Pinot Noir that will be an even bigger delight to drink after 2022.
Lots of ripe-strawberry character with lemon rind and berries. Full-bodied, dense and layered with a beautiful finish. Fruit-forward and serious. Drink or hold.
