Delicate ruby red with purple reflections. Great Pinot Noir character with notes of raspberries and cherries combined with herbal hints such as oregano thyme, truffle and flowers. Great complexity and finesse are found in this splendid Patagonia wine. Delicate and persistent structure. Silky tannins combined with firm natural acidity give it a unique vibrancy and depth. Of medium intensity, its great characteristic is the finesse and complexity of this Pinot Noir.
The 2018 Pinot Noir Block I was made with grapes from Sarmiento, Chubut, 50% fermented in whole bunches and aged for up to 20 months in foudres. A dense cherry red in the glass. The nose presents notes of damp earth, mushrooms and ripe fruit with hints of cherry, rose and orange petit fours. In the mouth, it’s compact with grippy tannins from the stem that lend depth, a refined freshness and a voluminous flow while the flavors stay taut and sustained. A delicate but intense Pinot.
Aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry, orange zest, moss and button mushroom. It’s medium-bodied with fine, tight-grained tannins. Wonderfully fresh and juicy with an energetic finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
