2018 The Vice Cabernet Sauvignon 'The Coyote' Howell Mountain

You can’t talk about 2018 wines without giving credit to the vintage, widely considered one of the best in the Napa Valley. The nose of V1 is bright with youthful, concentrated fruit. The palate is a complex and tenacious blend of dark cherries, cola, spice and cacao flavors. Time and age will bring out the tobacco, leather, dark chocolate and mocha lurking just beneath the surface. Amrani recommends a nice, long decant if you don’t have the patience for cellaring.
