The opening game is strong here, with intoxicating aromas of brandied cherries and raspberry panna cotta that will have your mouth watering before the first sip. Take your time exploring the layers of aroma and flavor here, from juicy red fruits and floral herbs to clove and caramel. The palate pops with cranberry chutney but just beneath that firework you’ll find vanilla bean and ginger snap. Vibrant acidity and silky tannin make this a match made in heaven for just about any meal, and a smorgasbord of flavor all on its own.

Located along a ridge top amongst the native redwoods, oaks and madrones, Gary Farrell's winery is smack dab in the middle of the Russian River Valley and nestled into one of the most magical places on earth. The winery specializes in making some of the best Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from Sonoma's most recognized regions. Their winery is immaculate and ideal for serious winemaking. An array of presses, sorting tables and temperature controlled tanks mean that they have the utmost control during fermentation and winemaking. But it's not enough to be technically perfect - these guys have committed themselves to cultivating relationships with growers, vendors and customers too. A wine crafted with integrity and honesty goes a long way to make friends, don't you agree?

James Suckling

Aromas of wild cherry, plum, crushed stone and ocean breeze. Medium-bodied with integrated tannins. An array of red fruit and fresh, colored flowers fills the palate. Very flavorful and satisfying. Bright acidity and a mineral edge keep the palate driven and dynamic. Lingering finish. Lovely. Drink or hold

Wine Spectator

This is a floral wine that is bursting in fresh strawberry and tangy acidity. Forest floor, rose petal and a hint of stem lie beneath a supple texture, with finishing notes of cola and cinnamon.
