Aged in 83% new French oak, it delivers intense aromas of cedar and cassis, while being full-bodied and velvety textured, marked by chewy tannins and a long finish, with hints of licorice and crushed stone.

Starting out a touch reductive and closed, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon The Cygnet opens up nicely with air, offering a full-bodied, concentrated, textured style as well as solid red and black fruits, tobacco, black olive, and a touch of scorched earth-like nuances. Including 5% Petit Verdot and aged in 83% new French oak, it’s certainly an outstanding wine that will evolve for 15 years or so.
