2019 Revana Family Vineyards 'Terroir Series' Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

"Last year we touted that the 2018 vintage gave us some of the best fruit we've seen in a long time. Well...the same can be said for the 2019 vintage. Coming off a blockbuster 2018 vintage, the 2019's are making their mark as some of the best.

Single vineyard sourcing, soil diversity, and a near-perfect growing season are just a few reasons why this wine is one to stock up on. "

This is packed with waves of steeped plum, boysenberry compote and açaí reduction, dripping with fruit but keeping its form and detail thanks to underlying tar and graphite notes. Presents pretty violet and anise accents, which fill in the background. Best from 2023 through 2036. 1,400 cases made.

A rich, mouth-filling, slightly chewy wine that brings the fruits, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Terroir Series offers up lots of chocolaty blackcurrant, tobacco, and roasted herb aromatics, medium to full body, a round, mouth-filling texture, and outstanding length on the finish. It will certainly scratch any Cabernet itch you might have. Drink it over the coming decade or so.
