Vibrant yellow edged in green, the aromas of pink grapefruit and kiwi are intense alongside hints of pear and anise. Toasted oak char kisses everything with cream and vanilla for a richer, more concentrated style than past vintages. This is an impressively textured white done in the fume blanc style, but with impressive restraint. Hints of candied ginger and crushed flowers emerge on the finish.
A very serious sauvignon with a deep palate of dried apple, lemon and mango with some cream and light vanilla undertones. It’s full-bodied, layered and beautiful on the finish. Like a top dry white from Bordeaux.
