A wine with depth and concentration displaying the true character of Rutherford dust. On the nose, dark cherries and chocolate with hints of eucalyptus which carry onto the palate are supported with fine, powdery tannins and a long finish. A true representation of what the terroir we inhabit can express.
Perfumed aromas of tile, blackberry, bark, earth and pine needles follow through to a medium body with very fine tannins and a lovely savory finish. The balance and drinkability is really right. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot and 10% malbec. First release. Drink or hold.
