From the 30-acre Powerline Vineyard, this 2020 Syrah mirrors the Northern Rhône's elegance with its deep ruby hue and complex bouquet of black cherry, blueberry, and black olive. Enhanced by rose petals and crushed stone, its high elevation and 4% Viognier co-ferment deliver a balanced, dynamic profile with a finish reminiscent of classic Syrah. Washington’s Rhône-like brilliance.

A bigger, more powerful, masculine-styled release, the 2020 Syrah Powerline Vineyard (100% Syrah) sports a deeper ruby/plum hue as well as medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe black and blue fruits, ground pepper, violets, and smoked meats. It brings lots of concentration and power but stays elegant and balanced, with beautiful tannins.

The ruby-hued 2020 Syrah The Beautiful is another perfumed, pretty, beautifully balanced 2020 from this team. Black cherries, mulled strawberries, ground pepper, rose petals, and smoked meats define the bulk of the aromas, and it’s medium to full-bodied, has fine tannins, and a great finish. It picks up a classic Syrah bloody, gamey character with time in the glass and is going to drink brilliantly over the coming 10-12 years. This comes all from the Powerline Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley and was co-fermented with 4% Viognier, not destemmed, and aged in 40% new French oak.
