Liquid Farm Chardonnay was clearly inspired by the great wines of Chablis. Barrel fermented and aged in neutral French Oak, it’s a crisp expression that highlights the unique minerality of the Santa Rita Hills. Aromas of lemon peel, freshly cut flowers and crushed shell lead to a taut, perfumed palate with nutty tones that hint at a savory future. A fine, chalky texture anchors the volatile acidity and lingers on the very long finish.
Terrific notes of honeyed apple, toasted brioche, and white flowers emerge from the 2020 Chardonnay White Hill, a medium-bodied, vibrant, elegant Chardonnay that shines for its purity and freshness. It's going to age beautifully, and I'd expect it to be even better in another year.
