Like an early afternoon breeze off the Pacific Ocean, this is just the refreshment to chase away a heat wave. 100% Grenache, this rosé opens with a wave of bright aromatics from orange blossom to candied strawberry. The palate stays light on its feet, with juicy white peach balanced by mouthwatering acidity and a crisp, dry finish. Just delightful.
Limpid salmon skin. Powerful peach, melon and raspberry qualities on the nose, along with a hint of white pepper that adds spicy lift. Round and weighty, offering plush red berry and pit fruit flavors that take on a subtle fennel note on the back half. In a substantial style but not at all lacking for energy. Finishes long and smooth, with repeating floral and spice notes and an exotic touch of honey. This substantial, expressive pink wine, which clocks in at a declared 13.8% ABV, is definitely better suited for drinking with food than all by its lonesome, although I wouldn't mind doing that, either.
