2021 Bodega Lanzaga 'Tabuerniga' Rioja

Tabuérniga is a single-vineyard wine from the historic village of Labastida, where grapes have been grown for at least 1,300 years. Telmo became aware of this extraordinary vineyard while at Remelluri in the late 1980s. Vertically planted on a narrow, steep valley opening to the southeast, the 2.7ha site is characterized by tight terraces of old bush vines and silty sandstone and marl soil.
