2021 Trois Noix 'Muir-Hanna Vineyard' Chardonnay Oak Knoll
"Made in mostly older French oak, balanced by 12% new barrels and 12% concrete egg, the 2021 Chardonnay Muir-Hanna Vineyard comes from the Oak Knoll District. With no malolactic fermentation and minimal bâtonnage, it's a rather delicate, understated style, with faint hints of fleurs blanches leading into notes of white peach and an almost terpene-like scent. In the mouth, it's medium-bodied and not overly rich or textural but lingers elegantly on the silky, mouthwatering finish." - Wine Advocate

Aromas of spices, grilled herbs, caramel, ripe nectarines and glazed lemons. Hints of walnut, too. Full and creamy with a gentle phenolic edge to it and vivid acidity. Lingering finish. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Chardonnay Muir-Hanna comes from the Oak Knoll region of Napa and was brought up in just 12% new oak. It has plenty of stone and orchard fruits as well as some subtle spicy, honeyed, and floral notes and a vibrant, fresh, focused style on the palate. It should keep for 2-4 years.
