Established in 1907 within the sandy loam soils on the eastern side of Lodi, these historic Zinfandel vines are accompanied by plantings of Grenache, Carignane, and Mission varieties. The aroma is marked by a savory and earthy profile, complemented by hints of dark fruits, sandalwood, red apple peel, and slow-cooked rhubarb. This wine presents itself with gracefully smooth, ultra-fine tannins and a lengthy, finish featuring notes of blue fruits, making it an ideal complement for any diverse feast.
From vines planted in 1907, the medium ruby colored 2021 Zinfandel Steacy Ranch opens with some rubbery tones that give way to crunchy red fruit, mushroom, mint and earth aromas. The medium-bodied palate is soft and delicately styled with perfumed fruit, and it has a long finish with earthy accents.
