2022 Do Ferreiro Albarino Rias Baixas

Do Ferreiro hails from the historic heart of Spain’s coastal Rias Baixas region. This small family winery, run by Gerardo Mendez along with his son and daughter, tends to over 175 tiny plots of Albarino with some vines over 50 years old and one which may be over 200! The nose enchants with sea breeze, peaches and fresh herbs, while the palate follows through in incredible concentration and depth. It’s easy to taste why Do Ferreiro is considered a reference point for Albarino.
