Eliza, our signature Rhône white blend, is a tribute to the iconic wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc and Eric Texier, whose craft inspired Donkey & Goat’s journey into winemaking two decades ago. This wine celebrates the unique character and complexity of each varietal, much like a chorus of individual voices harmonizing beautifully. Founded by Jared Brandt and Tracey Rogers in 2004 after an enlightening year with Texier in the Rhône Valley, Donkey & Goat has become a pioneer in the Natural Wine movement, driven by ecological principles and transparency. Eliza’s bright lemon zest aromas, creamy sweetness, and delicate pear blossom perfume lead to a palate awakening acidity, creamy texture, and subtle oak balance, pairing elegantly with foraged mushrooms and squash.
