2023 Massican 'Gemina' White Blend California
Gemina is the name of an ancient Roman grape planted in the region around the Massican hills of southern Italy. This grape variety originates from Greece, dating back to the first century when it was first called Aminea Gemina. Gemina is a unique, white wine blend combining grapes originally from the south of Italy and now planted here in California. You will get aromas of ocean spray, pear skins and citrus zest with flavors of lemon, lime, fig and ginger.
James Suckling
An Italian-style white blend of Greco, Falanghina, and Fiano from three districts of California, inspired by Campania. It is super crisp, acidic, and mouth-puckering, with intense lemon, lime, grapefruit, and green apple flavors accented by minerals and white pepper. Light-bodied, it is made for food pairing.
