This is your value-play bourbon, and back in the day it won the award for Best Small Batch Bourbon at the SF World Spirits Competition. It's a sourced 12-year-old bourbon which took us by surprise when we tasted it. Rich notes of brulee, toffee, and cherry Jolly Ranchers are just some of the aromatics you'll find. The palate shows oak spice, vanilla and a cinnamon "Red Hots" spice. It's well-balanced and easy drinking, and 12-year whiskeys don't come along at this price every day.
