A notoriously difficult variety of Agave to work with, this tall, slender plant offers an abundance of tropical character from start to finish. The nose is balanced by a mineral tone and a hint of citrus. The supple palate shows hints of sweet potato and a dose of bell pepper along with mango, papaya and other tropical notes. A long, dry, and smoky finish bring this one full-circle. This is a sensational sipper, deserving of a good book and a long pull on a Nicaraguan Robusto.
