After 16 years as the winemaker and estate manager for Stags’ Leap Winery, Veteran Winemaker Robert Brittan turned his sights north. With an interest in making Pinot Noir from cooler climates, Bob’s journey landed him in the Willamette Valley, and he hasn’t looked back since. He purchased a 128-acre hillside nirvana in 2004 and has continued to produce wines that represent this unique site and speak of a true time and place. Each of his wines hail from distinct single blocks that allow him to showcase what he loves about the various slices of earth that he chose as his own. He is a true champion of Oregon Pinot Noir, and his wares are some of the best the region has to offer.
