Le P'Tit Paysan

Winemaker Ian Brand didn’t set out to make these wines, rather the project came about when great vineyards were discovered in the most unlikely of places. These special spots, often at the fringe of where many growers would call farming “sensible,” just needed someone to champion their virtues. They found one in Le P’Tit Paysan. In these remote and challenging vineyards that are capable of producing idiosyncratic wines, the winemaking goal is to dust off the rough edges and leave the soul of the fruit intact. It is, after all, the back country, where Le P’tit Paysan comes to life.
