Bottled in July 2016 and exclusive to Bounty Hunter, this 1986 vintage bottling shows all the glory of older vintage Armagnac with a bit more power and richness. Bold spice, dried figs and plums with hints of marzipan are well showcased here. Cask strength Armagnac is a special treat and with one sip this beauty will earn its place in your in-from-the-cold snifter.
Château de Laubade's production is entirely estate sourced, unlike other producers in Armagnac. They buy no outside grapes, but more impressively, they make their own casks from estate harvested Gascony oak trees. The production of Armagnac predates that of Cognac by 150 years, and with that added experience, it's no wonder these are the brandies serious connoisseurs are drawn to.
