The newest, and one of most interesting, releases from Chateau de Laubade is a 100% Colombard estate-grown Armagnac aged in Gascony oak for 7 years and then finished in French Single Malt Whisky casks. It's an exclusive to the USA and we're one of the few retailers where you'll find this.
With bright fruits accented by darker tones of oak spice, dusty paradis, and earth with a supple texture, we know you'll find a lot to love in this bottle. This is one of those treats which you didn't realize you wanted until you taste it.
Château de Laubade's production is entirely estate sourced, unlike other producers in Armagnac. They buy no outside grapes, but more impressively, they make their own casks from estate harvested Gascony oak trees. The production of Armagnac predates that of Cognac by 150 years, and with that added experience, it's no wonder these are the brandies serious connoisseurs are drawn to.
