Codigo’s founders are dedicated to the old-school, time-honored path from agave to tequila and mezcal. This new, premium expression is smooth on the palate, with subtle smoke that satisfies in a sipper and brings welcome complexity to tequila-based cocktails. For this bottling, they partnered with a small village of families who have been quietly crafting exquisite Mezcal for years. The spirit then rested in Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels from the Napa Valley to bring out even more floral and citrus notes.
