Glendalough Rose Gin

Rose gins are all the rage today, but not all are created equal. For this expression Glendalough uses three varieties of roses; the rare and elusive Wild Rose from the Wicklow mountains, large fragrant Heritage Roses and the ancient prized Damask Rose. All of which come together to make this a naturally pink and very floral gin.
With an abundance of character this opens with hints of citrus and floral notes peppered with Juniper. The palate is quite floral with notes of (expectedly) rose, honeysuckle, and a beautiful herbaceousness. The finish has subtle citrus accented by spice and a wisp of mint.
