Following in the footsteps of his predecessors, Yann Fillioux has created this blend in honor of the original 'Imperial' blend created as a birthday gift for Tsar Alexander I. Aged up to 130 years and created from a blend of over 100 eaux-de-vie the Paradis is among the most elegant Cognacs we've tasted. A jasmine and orange blossom nose lead to a luxurious texture accented with spice and smoke. Like the Tsars, nothing lasts forever and these bottles are in short supply! Get your hands on this delight before it is too late.
Irishman Richard Hennessy founded this legendary Cognac house in 1765, and began exporting to the UK soon thereafter. The distiller merged with Moët et Chandon in 1971, Louis Vuitton in 1987, which created the luxury corporation LVMH. Today Hennessy is partly owned by Diageo.
Every day at 11am a team of master blenders meets in the firm's offices in Cognac to assemble various blends. Maurice Hennessy created the XO bottling in 1870, and today it is assembled from as many as 100 eaux de vies, some as old as 30 years. At Bounty Hunter we also love the luxurious "Richard" bottling, offered in a stunning Baccarat decanter that cradles this blend of sumptuous eaux de vies that are between 45 and 200 years old.
