This is the first release in the new Whiskey Row series, which commemorates the founding of the Old Forester Bourbon Distillery on West Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky in 1870. Explosive aromas of caramel, red apples and tobacco meld into a succulent palate of sweet baking spice, cherries, hints of citrus and oak. A smooth soft finish of stone fruits rounds out this easy drinking and palate pleasing bottle of brown water.

Old Forester is America's only distillery that has been in uninterrupted production, and still in the hands of its founding family, since its inception in 1870. It was then that founder George Garvin Brown introduced Old Forester to the people of Louisville: the first Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey to be sold in sealed glass bottles to ensure quality. Today Old Forester, made by the Brown-Forman corporation, is the official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby. Numerous blends - including an "original batch" recipe that recalls George Garvin Brown's original mashbill and methods - have spread the renown of this Bourbon standard-bearer.
