The Bruery 'Mischief' Belgian Strong Golden Ale Orange County, California

This Belgian Strong Golden Ale delivers flavor by the boatload, featuring grains of paradise, citrus, ripe melon, pear, and a spicy phenolic finish that speaks to its Belgian yeast. Aggressively hopped in a west coast style to keep things interesting, this beer has got it going on. Mischief is one dangerously tasty beer that is sure to get anyone in trouble.

Owner and brewmaster Patrick Rue is the mad genius behind the crazily innovative and barrel aging programs at The Bruery. Patrick has a taste for the adventurous, the experimental, and the weird. More importantly, he wants to brew beers that are worth contemplation. From clean, fresh beers to full sour, barrel aged geekiness-The Bruery turns out a vast array of beers done in a Belgian and West Coast style with secondary fermentation. The Bruery came into existence once Patrick finished law school, and decided taking the Bar Exam was going to bore him to death-Starting a brewery seemed like a much more interesting endeavor. It was either that, or his wife was sick of cleaning up is his home brewing messes in their kitchen. We suspect it might be a bit more of the latter.
