Hooker's House Bourbon Whiskey Sonoma

Avg. Rating:

Whose house? The infamous General Joseph Hooker's to be exact; a Civil War veteran, Sonoma resident, ladies' man and whiskey aficionado. His debaucherous legacy matched the bold and spicy character of this barrel-aged Kentucky distilled bourbon and thus inspired the name. Robust aromas of brown sugar, charred orange peel, and vanilla with flavors of red fruit, caramel and barrel spice that's bottled at the optimum General's strength of 100 proof.

Whose house? The infamous General Joseph Hooker's to be exact; a Civil War veteran, Sonoma resident, lady's man and whiskey aficionado. Although his military practice was often questioned, his love of whiskey and women were not. The general was known to kept the morale of his troops happy and in good spirits by allowing a lot of freedom, including a posse of ladies that would follow his troops around. The legendary General liked to carry on so much with women and whiskey that he popularized the word “Hooker” to its common use. The General’s home, Hooker House, located off the historic plaza in Sonoma is now a museum celebrating his spirited life and the inspiration behind this barrel-aged Kentucky distilled bourbon

    Comment:
Great burn, very comparable to Angel's Envy. Definitely worth adding to your whiskey rotation. More importantly, I appreciated the customer service provided by Bounty Hunter as I ordered this online. They provide a great service for items which may not be stocked locally.
