2015 Maison L’Envoye Pinot Noir Tasmania Tamar Valley
Maison l’Envoyé “Envoy House” is the brainchild of former movie producer (and founder of Evening Land) Mark Tarlov, and our friends at importer Old Bridge Cellars. This comes from a single old vineyard called Chromy, on the cool north slope of Tasmania, which is becoming white-hot for Pinot Noir. This is meaty, juicy, sweet-fruited Pinot Noir that seized our attention for its flabbergasting value.

Maison L'Envoyé, which means "The House of the Messenger," is devoted to Pinot Noir in all its incarnations. With winemaking footprints in both Burgundy and Willamette Valley, Maison L'Envoyé champions the small, often unsung growers who've been farming their vineyards for decades or generations. Led by former Evening Land founder, Mark Tarlov, Maison L'Envoyé brings together a colorful cast of Burgundian winemakers, Oregon vignerons and Napa Valley based wine importer, Old Bridge Cellars. In all, they strive to craft wines that not only jubilantly sing of their origins, but are also delicious in their own right.About Maison L’Envoyé
