Thanks to a special combination of natural alchemy and centuries old craftsmanship, The Balvenie is unique among single malt producers in Scotland. One of the few remaining distilleries to grow and malt their own barley in-house, they also have a resident coppersmith who maintains the stills, and they employ a team of coopers who ensure each barrel is in perfect condition before they are filled. Lastly, their Malt Master David Stewart presides over the all-important maturation process.
