We tweaked this classic a little and suggest using Sazerac Rye instead of Bourbon as the spice notes in rye whiskey integrate so well with the lemon and honey in this sublime, yet underappreciated cocktail.

- 2 oz Sazerac Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz Honey Syrup
- ¾ oz Lemon Juice

Shake all ingredients and strain over ice in a rocks glass, garnish with a lemon peel.
