Like a future Broadway star getting off the train at Grand Central, this Widow got her start in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. The final blend of rich and rare bourbons was hand assembled in Brooklyn in 5barrel batches and proofed with their own limestone mineral water from New York’s Rosendale Mines, 100 miles from the distillery. That’s the same mine that provided the limestone for the Brooklyn Bridge and the pedestal beneath the Statue of Liberty! 91-proof Widow Jane is a sip to remember. Aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and cream lead to a palate of orange, maple, cherry and almond with a spicy finish of charred oak.
