2021 Venge Vineyards 'Scout's Honor' Red Napa Valley

This playful and exuberant blend is named in honor of the Venge’s dog Scout. Full bodied energetic and loyal to the core, this Zinfandel blend always welcomes you home with an exuberant greeting of ripe currant, violet, and muscular tannin.

Just over 40 years old, Kirk Venge has already established himself as an indispensible winemaker in the Napa Valley, gaining enviable critical acclaim for his no-holds-barred, ripe and plush Cabernet Sauvignon. We often say that Kirk’s wines should come with a hedonism warning label, or require some sort of permit. Kirk took over Venge Vineyards from his dad Nils in 2008, and has never looked back. He’s built an impressive consulting roster too, making wines for luminaries like B Cellars, Hunnicutt, Macauley, Bacio Divino, and Trespass.
