HSE Rhum Agricole Extra Vieux Highland Cask Finished

On the island of Martinique, Habitation Saint-Etienne (HSE) has been producing spirits since the late 1800’s. Rhum Agricole, a spirit distilled from fermented fresh sugarcane juice is a close cousin of modern rum. The distillery was originally a sugar refinery until purchased in 1882 and was transformed into a distillery. The property itself is a testament to time is a registered French Historic Monument. The distillery was purchased once more in 1994 and the HSE brand was re-established. Producing small batches of Rhum Agricole aged in various barrels from around the world.
